International Summer School on Glacial Megaflood Landforms and Sediments

Considering current difficult situation, we sadly inform that our International Summer School on Megaflood Landform and Sediments is cancelled in May 2020 and will be postponed likely until spring 2021.

International Summer School on Glacial Megaflood Landforms and Sediments is dedicated to PhD students and early career researchers who perform their research on the Quaternary geology and glacial geomorphology. The School focuses on the Late Pleistocene glacial megaflood-related landforms and sediments and is based on lectures and discussions during the field trips and courses. Selected participant presentations (in extended version as an article) can be published in an international periodical journal on Earth sciences (details in the 2nd circular). The programme includes many lectures.

with Keynote Presentations by
Prof. Andrew Russell (Newcastle University, United Kingdom)
Prof. Jutta Winsemann (Leibniz Universität Hannover, Germany)
